MELBOURNE – AUSTRALIA (21st April 2006) -MailEnable Announces Enterprise Edition v 2.0 – High volume mail server solution – Now with .Net, improved security and advanced spam protection.

MailEnable Pty. Ltd. is pleased to announce the release of Enterprise Edition 2.0, a new version of its mail server software for Microsoft Windows. MailEnable Enterprise Edition v 2.0 is designed specifically for large organisations or ISP's where there are high volumes of mail and greater control and flexibility over mail services is required.

MailEnable Pty. Ltd. has released Enterprise Edition v 2.0 – a robust, high performance mail server for the Windows platform. Enterprise Edition is designed specifically handling large volumes of mail and thousands of users, but with the advantage of no-per-seat licensing. This makes Enterprise Edition a compelling choice for large organizations or ISP’s that would otherwise have to license their mail server on a per-user basis.

The new Enterprise Edition v 2.0 supports the .NET framework for web mail and web administration. The enhanced web mail component now supports multiple languages and spell checking, as well as improvements to the interface and usability.

Version 2.0 builds the functionality of Enterprise Edition to include improved security features such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and strong password encryption with NTLM support. Advanced spam protection now includes URL blacklisting to scan messages for offensive URLs. The ability to create customized filters via scripts gives unsurpassed flexibility and control over mail handling.

Enterprise Edition is geared towards maximizing the profitability of providing e-mail hosting. Features including the ability to selectively add services such as anti-spam, anti-virus, filtering and web-mail on a per domain or per mailbox level – mean that mail hosts can offer premium solutions to their customers. The ability to set up server clusters to load balance allows for scalability; and maximum service uptime is ensured by isolating mail services.

Other features include:

- POP, SMTP, HTTPMail, IMAP
- Web mail and web administration
- Web mail skins and re-branding
- Advanced spam protection
- Database Connectivity (Microsoft SQL, MySQL)
- Remote administration
- Developer API

A full, unrestricted three month trial version of Enterprise Edition Version 2.0 can be downloaded from the MailEnable Website at http://www.mailenable.com
